Kennis Hoo

Kennis Hoo is a trainer, coach and facilitator who turns real corporate experience into practical, people-centred learning. Passionate about cultivating resilient, future-ready talent, she combines practical strategies with engaging, results-driven training to help individuals and teams elevate performance, enhance productivity and develop lasting leadership capabilities.

She holds a Bachelor's Degree (Hons) in Accountancy from the University of Bolton, UK, and is a Certified Professional Trainer (CPT) recognised by the International Professional Managers' Association (IPMA), UK — as well as an HRD Corp Accredited Trainer, qualifying her for Malaysian corporate training funding.

Before stepping into training full-time, Kennis spent over 15 years in a US-based multinational technology company, where she led work across IT service operations, financial management, HR talent development, talent retention and career planning. One of her standout achievements was leading a team of business analysts and technical experts to build an in-house system from the ground up — a project that ultimately saved the organisation close to USD 2.25 million annually.

That builder's mindset — methodical, outcomes-focused and grounded in what technology can actually do — is the thread running through every session she runs. She is also a Licensed Master Practitioner and Licensed NLP Coach certified by the Society of NLP™, US, adding a powerful behavioural and mindset dimension to her leadership and coaching work.
